Bora Bora Swimsuit Round-Up

Los Angeles mom and style blogger shares photos from her trip to Bora Bora

I'm still dreaming of our trip to Bora Bora a few weeks back because it was pure heaven on earth. Rounding up some of my favorite swimsuits I brought with me and linking to details. I tried out a few new brands for the trip and I'm so happy I did. Truth be told, I hadn't bought a new swimsuit since before the girls were born so let's just say these were much-needed and I’m feeling like a brand new mama!

Hunza G.

This pink one-piece suit is one-size fits all and it's made of the comfiest crinkle fabric. It comes in the cutest bubble gum pink color, a lighter blush pink, black, and a number of other colors too. I love the low scoop in the back and the thick straps. The fabric itself is incredibly lightweight so it doesn't suck you in like traditional bathing suit material. Likewise, I wasn't sure at first how that material would look when wet since it's not lined but somehow it's just perfect.

If you're not familiar with Hunza G. suits, they come in a number of different cuts--both in two pieces and one pieces. They're definitely a splurge but they're classic and chic so if you go for it, they'll be in style for years to come. In case you love the look but would rather score it for less, sharing some more affordable lookalikes below too (one for less than $30!).

Skatie

I can’t rave about this swimwear brand enough. Skatie swimsuits are made of the cutest, lightest fabrics, bright colors, fun patterns, and I LOVE the flattering cuts. I wore this one piece suit that is connected on the side and open around the mid-section. It gives the illusion of a bikini but it feels more secure. I loved this suit so much, I also scooped it up in a tie dye print. Linking to some similar prints below.

Riot Swim

I was on the hunt for a simple black bikini for our trip that had enough coverage and I scooped up this one on Revolve (top and bottom) . I love the high cut of the bottoms since its so flattering and the fact that the top is adjustable. It also has more support than I thought it might have so it made the cut. This style of this suit is called the β€œPico Bikini.” It comes in a few different colors which I'm linking to below.

What are some of your favorite swimwear brands and why? Leave a comment below! If you're interested in checking out more of my Bora Bora content, sharing a SummerSalt beach looks post here, and a couple of outfit posts here and here

As always, thanks for stopping by!
