Every woman needs a bright slinky maxi dress in their closet this spring. When I saw this one at Zara a few weeks back, I had to have it. I love its vibrant color (which is very on-trend this spring) and the fact that I can dress it up for date night or down for comfy weekends at home with Naiya.

Sharing one of my favorite basic weekend looks I've been wearing on repeat while running around town with Naiya. Not to sound completely cliche but now that I'm a mom, I rarely wear heels and these sneakers have become my go-to's.

Since Naiya was born on August 30th, 2017 and February had only 28 days, we've been celebrating her half birthday for a few days now like crazy proud first-time parents.  Six months into parenthood, we finally feel so much more like our old selves again.

I blinked and Naiya is almost six months old. I'm truly not sure where the time went but I'm excited to share an update with you today.

While maternity leave was the furthest from a vacation anyone could ever imagine, it taught me so much and I feel like I came out stronger because of it.I walked away from my leave excited to find my professional self again but equally excited to create more balance in my life.

I woke up yesterday morning as a mom to a five month old! Where did the time go and how did Naiya get so big? Now I completely understand why parents always say they blink and they're sending their kids off to college (cue the tears!).

Wearing one of my favorite sweatshirts of the moment today with the prettiest oversized sleeves. I paired it with deconstructed jeans (similar here), my favorite loafers and round sunnies.

Last week was my first week going back to work since having Naiya and it was so surreal. As excited as I was to actually get dressed, find my professional self again and have adult conversations that didn't involve poop and spit-up, leaving Naiya was undoubtably hard.
